Laboratories

The Composite Lab provides facilities and opportunities for students of classes 6 to 10 in carrying out experiments and activities in all science subjects. The lab is well equipped and can accommodate more than 35 students at a time. The lab settings include spacious tables with reagent shelves, sinks and water taps, Bunsen burner, reagents and chemicals for experiments in chemistry, sufficient number of microscopes for slide preparations and observations, charts and models etc… Students get equal opportunity for developing their scientific skills and interests by following the principle of learning by doing.

 

Excellent Transportation Facility

The transport needs of the students is handled by a fleet of buses and vans that is owned and managed by the School. Currently we offer transport facility to students from Silvassa, Athal, Naroli and Bhilad. Students are supervised by conductors and attendant in the buses. The safety of the students is paramount hence adequate care is taken for safety of students.

Medical Facility

Expert and experienced doctors are always ready to take care of the students. The most reputed doctors of the city often visit the school and address the student the students about health and hygiene

Sports Facility

We believe that physical education not only helps enhance overall health and motor skills but also helps and sharpens students learning ability. Respect, sportsmanship and fair-play are the foundation of our physical education programme. At Omkar Vidyamandir, these skills will be inculcated through sports like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table-tennis, chess, and athletics.

Safe drinking water (RO Plant)

The School has made all the necessary arrangements for providing clean and pure drinking water to the students and all staff. The drinking water is purified by the R.O. Plant with 1000 litres per hour capacity, installed within the Academic block. During summer, fresh and pure drinking water is provided to the students and staff through the Water Cooler. It is to ensure that the students and staffs of the School remain hydrated during scorching heat along with sound health.

Other Facilities

Services of tailor washer man, barber and cobbler are also available for the boarders in the campus at most reasonable rates. The school provides the facility of a store in which items of daily use as stationary and general goods are available at reasonable rates
